Small Groups:
Minimum three – maximum six people.
Pre-requisites:
Sashiko Beginner Workshop or have equivalent Sashiko experience.
This is an intermediate class suitable for students who have completed the Sashiko Beginner Workshop.
Further practice of more complex Sashiko patterns based on circles, squares, diagonals, diamonds and hexagons.
In this session, we explore the many ways to transfer designs onto fabric using different transferring tools.
Transfer a design using your choice of tools and Sashiko stitch the design.
What to Bring
Bring along an article of clothing that you think will suit mending or embellishing with your Sashiko stitching design and if preferred bring some of your own fabric for making your Sashiko transferred design.

- A variety of different tools.
- Different types of fabric squares.
- A choice of different threads
- Pins & Sashiko sewing needles (borrow)
- Scissors (borrow)
Sewing Kit
Bring a Sewing Kit, if you have one or purchase at the class.
Some essential items to include:
- Embroidery scissors
- Hand sewing needles
- Needle threader
- Seam ripper
- Thread
- Pins
- Tape measure or ruler
- Chalk or marking pencil
