What You Will Learn

Crochet has been around for over two hundred years and has often been referred to as a type of ‘Mental Yoga’. Many people believe that there are health and wellbeing benefits to relaxing into a mindful, rhythmic and repetitive relaxation such as crochet.

This introductory crochet course is designed to make learning the craft fun and easy. You will learn the basics of crochet, such as how to hold the hook and yarn and to crochet basic stitches such as the chain, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and slip stitches.

Participants will be exposed to various projects and will leave the beginnings of a new scarf.
