What You Will Learn
This is an introductory class suitable for beginners.
Embroidery is a beautiful decorative art form has been practised all over the world and can be dated as far back as man has been able to produce clothing.
It uses many different types of fabric, needles, and various yarns and threads designed to add texture and embellishment. While it grew out of necessity for practical purposes, it is all about decorating and embellishing fabric to render it more beautiful and unique.
What began as simple patchwork and repairs soon developed into elaborate designs, so since its beginning, hand embroidery has aways been a highly desired skill.
In the Embroidery Beginner Workshop, you will learn how to make many embroidery stitches to decorate or mend your clothes and take home a sampler so you can immedately begin to embroider.
