This is an introductory class suitable for beginners.
In the Embroidery Beginner Workshop, you will learn how to make many embroidery stitches to decorate or mend your clothes and take home a sampler so you can immedately begin to embroider.
This introductory crochet course is designed to make learning the craft fun and easy. You will learn the basics of crochet, such as how to hold the hook and yarn and to crochet basic stitches such as the chain, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and slip stitches.
Participants will be exposed to various projects and will leave the beginnings of a new scarf.
Learn to knit using basic stitches including how to hold the knitting needles and yarn and be on the way to knitting yourself a simple scarf.
This is an introductory class suitable for Beginners.
In this session, you will learn the basics you need to know about Sashiko stitching are explained as well as the fabric, needles and thread used. You will practise Sashiko stitches and patterns on fabric patches and learn different ways to keep stitches uniform.
This is an intermediate class suitable for students who have completed the Sashiko Beginner Workshop.
Further practice of more complex Sashiko patterns based on circles, squares, diagonals, diamonds and hexagons.
In this workshop you can be loose, free, relaxed and go where your thread takes you when stitching.
Use many different colours, change directions, and sew your favourite stitch in varied combinations.
Freeform embroideries are made just for fun, the excitement of stitching and the spilling of colourful threads and yarns all over your fabric.
This is an advanced class suitable for students who have Sashiko and embroidery stitching experience.
Further practice of more complex Sashiko patterns based on circles, squares, diagonals, diamonds and hexagons combined with freeform embroidery. This embroidery is the imaginative use of stitches without patterns.
In this class, learn the art and design of combining Sashiko style stitching with freeform embroidery for repairs, reinforcement and embellishment.
This class is perfect for those who have some basic crochet experience.
In this workshop, basic crochet stitches are used to create amazing and sometimes complex shapes combining the artistry of colour and design to collate your crocheted pieces together to create a unique wearable scarf.
